Mavis Dragneel is the daughter of Natsu and Lucy Dragneel. She is the oldest member of the triplets. Her name does originate from the first guild master of Fairy Tail, Mavis Vermilion.
Appearance[]
Little is known of Mavis' appearance other than the fact that, like her father, she has pink hair. This is how he got the right to name her, as after Liddan was born, they decided to go by the hair color to see who got to pick the kid's name. Since Mavis was born with a bit of pink hair on her head, Natsu named her Mavis, after the first guild master of Fairy Tail.
Personality[]
Though Mavis is still an infant or toddler during Volume IV, we do get a glimpse of her in the future during Jude in Christmasland, where we see her and her siblings interact as children, now 7 or 8. Out of all her siblings, she appears to be the most sound and logical, commenting on how the Nutcracker in the story they're reading never bothers to use the sword he has. She serves as the straight woman to Igneel's anxious demeanor and Luna's wild behavior, keeping the three grounded so they don't fly off the handle.
She also appears to be quite frank and at times cynical, but does value her family (and specifically her triplet siblings) a great deal.
